Dr. Mitra has more than 30 years’ cross-functional experience in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries with a focus on fermentation. From R&D to production and business development and marketing to strategic operations, he brings a strong combination of science and commercial expertise. As general manager of business development for Sri Krishna Pharmaceuticals in Hyderabad, India, his responsibilities included strategizing the selection of products for fermentation-based processes from biotech pilot set up through commercialization. He has consulted on development of new fermentation-based products for multiple companies.
